2. Website hosting
The public website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. Requests involve processing technical data including your IP address, request date and time, requested page, HTTP status and information transmitted by your browser, such as browser, operating system and, where applicable, referring page.
These data are used to deliver the website, maintain stability and detect and prevent attacks. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and the legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable website. We have a data processing agreement with STRATO under Article 28 GDPR.
Under the data processing agreement, STRATO retains log files about visitors to this website for no more than seven days. STRATO specifies a maximum retention period of twelve months for other hosting log data. See STRATO’s hosting privacy information.
3. Email and telephone enquiries
When you contact us, we process the details you provide, including your name, email address or telephone number, message and attachments, to respond and continue the conversation. The email mailbox is hosted by STRATO.
Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies where the enquiry relates to a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract. Data are deleted after the enquiry has been concluded once they are no longer needed for communication, statutory retention obligations or establishing, exercising or defending legal claims. Further retention is restricted to these purposes.
STRATO specifies a maximum retention period of six months from creation for technical email log files. After our email contract with STRATO ends, the contractual deletion period for email data processed there is no more than 30 days. These periods concern processing by the service provider; our handling and retention of correspondence follow the purposes described above.
Providing information is voluntary. We may be unable to respond without the contact and message details needed to process your enquiry. Contacting us does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
4. Cookies, external content and app concept
The website itself sets no cookies, uses no browser storage and includes no analytics or marketing services. Fonts are supplied by your device; the logo and other website files are loaded from the website’s own server. External links connect you to the linked website only when clicked.
The app display is a static product concept. This website does not access your microphone, record audio or perform AI analysis. Displayed values are illustrative. No automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR, takes place.
5. Recipients and disclosures
Hosting and email data may be processed by STRATO and processors used to provide these services. Data may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to enforce legal claims. This website includes no services that transfer visitor data for advertising. Email communication also involves the email providers selected by the respective correspondent.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction (Article 18) and data portability (Article 20). Any consent you have given may be withdrawn at any time for the future, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Right to object: Under Article 21 GDPR, you may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. To exercise your rights, use the contact details above.
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority under Article 77 GDPR, particularly in your place of habitual residence, work or the alleged infringement.
